What will you remember most about sports in 2008? It’s been a hell of a year. Best answer gets 10 pts.?

2008 will be remembered as the year of upsets all around in sports. Not one team that was favored to win in a championship game won. We had four #1 seeds in the NCAA Final Four for the 1st time ever. KU was up 40 points on North Carolina and UNC brought to within 3 before losing by 18. Memphis choked at the free throw line and KU takes advantage and wins in OT. The Patriots go 16-0 in the regular season (first time ever) only to be upset in the Superbowl by the 14 point underdog NY Giants. The Lakers, picked to win in 5, lose to the Celtics in 6. The Phillies win the World Series, LSU upsets #1 seed Ohio State in college football, Nadal beats Federer in classic at Wimbledon…WOW!!!

all were great but its between the superbowl or phelps for the top spot
