Does Nero free edition leave a mark on back-up DVDs?

A mark as in a ‘note’ to say that it is a back-up DVD. I was trying to burn an ISO file and although I can burn it, the program that uses the DVD recognises it as a back-up and refuses to play. If I get Nero professional will this solve this or do I have to go down another route?

No, the ultimate fall in Backups. Ive had to back up a few of my games, including Colin Mcrae 2, halo and far cry.

Depending on the anticopying software, u may need to download a crack to play with backups. However even if u dont u wont be able to play online with most games.

All of those games were getting scratched for no apparent reason, so i copied them before they became unreadable, which happened for all of them.
