CE Certification or CE Mark Certification is a symbol of product safety.Ce Certification is must required if you want to Export your products in European countries. This is a product certification for certain products to be sold in European Union.The term initially used was “EC Mark” and it was officially replaced by “CE Marking” in the Directive 93/68/EEC in 1993.

The CE mark is affixed to the product as the final stage of this process and is effectively a statement from the manufacturer (or importer) that the process has been successfully completed and that the product meets the essential requirements of the relevant CE marking Directives.

CE Certification certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements.Ce Mark certification is work as “passport” which authenticate a manufacturer to Sell or export their products in European Economic Area or EEA and European Union (EU) marketplace such as – Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom

Note That Turkey is not a member of EU and not Part of EEA but Turkey has implemented many European CE marking directives. It means that Turkey is also require ce marking Certification for many products.

There are Four most likely directive to which the CE certification is required. Such as The Machinery directive, The Medical Device directive,The Electromagnetic Compatibility (all Electronic equipments) and The Low Voltage directive (all Electrical equipments).There are also some other types of products which requires the CE certification as Toys, construction products, Pressure Vessels, Gas Appliances, Measuring Instruments, Marine Equipment, Non-Automatic Weighing equipment etc.

CE marking is not requires for the following products:-
Foodstuffs, Chemical, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals,
